Parent Teen Mediation |
| FAYSS counsellors work with youth between the ages of 12 and 19. They provide short term (8 weeks) outreach counselling and conflict mediation to families in crisis. The goal is to prevent family breakdown and the need to take youth into the care of the Ministry for Children and Family Development. FAYSS will also assist families by linking them with other community based service providers. |

Parental Support |
| FAYSS counsellors provide parents with methods for improving their parenting skills, increase their knowledge of community resources, help link parents to ongoing community support, and work towards maintaining the youth in the home. FAYSS offers a parent support group. |
